Justin Terzo

Justin Terzo is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Lake Street Capital Partners and the Founder of Lake Street Capital Management, the investment manager and general partner of Lake Street’s private investment platform. In these roles, Justin helps lead the firm’s strategic direction, investment oversight, capital formation, investor partnerships, and fund governance, while playing an active role in the continued development and expansion of the firm’s investment platform and institutional capabilities.

The foundation for Lake Street’s private investment platform began with a series of special purpose vehicle (SPV) investments across private equity, venture capital, and real estate. Justin played a leading role in capital formation and investor engagement across these investments, helping develop a growing network of investors, business owners, and industry relationships. The success and evolution of the SPV platform ultimately helped lead to the formation of Lake Street Capital Partners and its dedicated private equity strategy.

In 2017, Justin co-founded Lake Street Private Wealth, a Chicago-based independent wealth management firm overseeing more than $1 billion in client assets for high-net-worth families and institutions across the country. Since its founding, Lake Street has grown into a diversified wealth management platform providing investment management, financial planning, and access to alternative and private market investments. As a member of the firm’s executive and investment leadership teams, Justin has played an integral role in shaping the firm’s strategic direction, investment capabilities, and growth.

Prior to the foundation of the Lake Street entities, Justin served as a Vice President at Merrill Lynch and began his career at KPMG. He earned dual bachelor’s degrees in finance and accounting from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business and is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
